Kristin Fischer is set to join CNN as CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. In her position as the Correspondent for Defence and Space at CNN, she has covering everything from NASA and the newly formed Space Force up until commercial space firms, as well as the rise and development in space travel. Kristin's parents were both NASA astronauts. Kristin received her Bachelors in Science of Journalism at Boston University. She is married to her husband in Washington, D.C., and is the mother of a 3-year-old daughter.
